When we first started selling 100% grass-fed beef I was pretty clueless when it came to cooking the perfect steak. Well a few burnt and tough steaks later I've learned a few things about serving the ultimate grass-fed steak.

My wife buying an instant read thermometer was a game changer for us. It takes all the guess work out of grilling or pan frying steak both of which I love to do.

Start with a great steak. Genetics determine about 90% of the tenderness of beef. We breed our animals to select for superior tenderness.

Here are my 6 personal tips to creating the ultimate steakhouse experience.

  1. Buy a Log Cabin Ranch Steak🥩😋 😉
  2. Get an instant read thermometer. You can buy these for $13 dollars on Amazon and it will be the best investment you can make in your cooking future.
  3. Thaw your steaks. Either place in the fridge for 1 to 3 days or in lukewarm water for several hours.
  4. Grill or Pan Fry, with butter on medium to high heat until internal temperature reaches 135℉ (use your new instant read thermometer) Flip the steak every minute or two to keep it from burning.
  5. Wrap in tinfoil and let set for 5-10 minutes, it will keep cooking
  6. Salt and Pepper to taste, enjoy the worlds best steak.
