Flank or Skirt Steak Marinade

This marinade is perfect for flank or skirt steak and pairs great with tacos or fajitas

Ingredients
- (1 Flank or Skirt Steak) Flank Steak
- (1/8 cup) Olive Oil
- (1/8 cup) Fresh Orange Juice
- (1/8 Cup) Fresh. Lime Juice
- (1/8 cup) Fresh Lemon Juice
- (1 tbsp) Apple Cider Vinegar
- (1/2 fresh bunch or 1 tbsp dried) Fresh or dried cilantro
- (2 cloves) Garlic
- (1/2 tsp) Ground Cumin
- (1/2 tsp) Chili Powder
- (1/2 tsp) Sea Salt
- (1/2 tsp) Black Pepper
- (1 pepper (optional)) Chopped Jalapeno
Directions
- Mix all the ingredients (except steak) together in a mixing bowl
- Place the steak in a ziplock bag and pour marinade over the steak
- Seal ziplock bag and place in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours but it is not recommended to exceed 24 hours
- Heat grill or frying pan to high heat
- Sear steak 4-5 minutes per side until internal temperature reads 135 degrees F
- Remove from grill wrap in tinfoil and let sit for 5-10 minuts
- Slice steak against the grain for an amazing experience
Flank steak is what is used for Carne Asada in Mexican restaurants and Flank or Skirt works great in fajitas.
