Steak Cream Sauce + Caramelized Onions

Elevate your next steak dinner with this creamy white sauce and caramelized onions. Pairs great with almost any steak from a sirloin to a filet mignon.

Ingredients
- (1 tsp.) Garlic
- (1/4 cup) Original Beef Broth
- (1 tsp.) Flour
- (1 tsp.) Dijon Mustard
- (1/4 tsp.) Brown Sugar
- (1/4 cup) Heavy Cream
- (To taste) Salt and Pepper
- (3 Tbsp.) Butter
- (1) Sweet Onion Sliced
Directions
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a frying pan over medium heat, add sliced onions and keep stirring every several minutes until onions are caramelized.
- In a small saucepan over medium to low heat add 1 tablespoon butter and garlic. When garlic has cooked down add broth, dijon mustard, and brown sugar. Cook for 1 minute and then add heavy cream, salt, pepper, and flour. Cook until it begins to boil and thicken.
- Top your steak with caramelized onions and drizzle with sauce. Serve extra sauce in small dishes for dipping.
